30 days. 8 countries. 2 friends.
After 2 days in Paris and plenty of train rides later, we have made it to the Netherlands.
Once again, Dutch design never disappoints. We only got the chance to visit Amsterdam this time but each coffee shop, restaurant, hotel, and museum is on point. We are staying at my friend, Gema’s, studio apartment along with several of her friends. She spends her summers working here, so thanks to her we strayed away from the more “touristy” spots of Amsterdam and got to experience the city from a local’s perspective.
I met so many great young and hard working people that look to better themselves and live new adventures. Those are the kinds of people that I will always love to surround myself with. I know what its like to drop everything and go find a job in another country “just ‘cus.” There are times where you’re looking to inject some excitement in your life…or maybe just to step out of your comfort zone and push your own personal boundaries to grow as an individual. After this trip, Amsterdam is definitely a city I would reconsider visiting for a longer period of time.
Thanks to everyone who made these past few days pretty damn unforgettable.
